Wonderful Orchestral Regina music box in a mahogany case with nine 27″ discs. The serial number on it is 30780. It has a folding or “accordian-top” that folds out and allows one to play the largest Regina discs. The movement has a great sound with double combs in good original condition. The base has a fancy carved molding with full carved columns on the corners and inset panels framed by a molding on each side. It has the original brass removable crank on the side for easy winding. This machine is pictured on page 201 of Encyclopedia of Automatic Musical Instruments by Q. David Bowers. With this machine one can enjoy the very best sound a music box can produce on a compact and quite portable machine!
