I accept cash, Visa, Mastercard, Discover, Paypal or personal check as payment for merchandise.  All overseas sales must be paid for by bank wire transfer in U.S. funds.   New York residense must pay the 7% sales tax.

At Southampton Antiques my prices are not negotiable.
I GIVE A 10% DISCOUNT OFF THE LISTED PRICE IF AN ITEM IS PAID FOR IN FULL WITHIN  TWO WEEKS OR PURCHASE.
About Finishes
I try to describe items as accurately as I can. Condition is a relative term. The following is a glossary of  terms:
Excellent Original – An item with this description has a clear original finish where the grain of the wood is plainly visible. There are few if any blemishes on the wood surface.
Good Original – Like the above but the finish is a bit more uneven. Some places might have a bit of crazing in the finish. Surfaces may have some small nicks or scratches.
Fair Original – The piece will generally be dark with some alligatoring of the finish. In some places the grain of the wood will be hard to make out.
Restored Original – Some finishes are in very good shape but have accumulated dirt and wax buildup over the years. We thoroughly clean and wax a piece with this finish to give it a more consistent appearance.
Refinished – I don’t do refinishing on pieces – preferring instead to offer only pieces in good original finish. Sometimes I purchase a piece that was refinished by a previous owner.  I don’t offer items that are refinished poorly.
Guarantee
I guarantee the authenticity and condition of every item I sell. Customer satisfaction is most important to me – I want you to be delighted with your new purchase. When you receive your item:
1. Inspect it immediately
2. If you are not satisfied give it back to the delivery service and call us.
3. When we receive it back we will refund your money immediately.
4. Arrangements for a return must be made within one week of acceptance of the initial delivery
Note: You will be charged for the two way transportation costs by the delivery service.  Don’t worry, you WILL be happy with your new purchase!
Delivery Service
For shipping in the United States you may use  one of the following companies. Although I recommend these companies, I am only responsible for the merchandise while it is in my possession. The companies that we recommend here all include delivery insurance.  If you need assistance dealing with any of these companies I will be glad to help you.
