Lovely Quartered Oak Fancy Jewelry Box with the original fancy “Jewels” metal script on the top. There are corresponding decorations in the corners and sides with unusual well defined claw feet. The interior has the original fabric (worn with age and usable) and the original top tray is removable to access the bottom section. This pretty box is from our home and one of the best examples of this type of jewelry box from the time period.
