Mappin Silver Candelabras

From our personal collection.   A fabulous pair of Rococo Victorian silver candelabras.   The three dimensional base, stem and arms are all open work in a most graceful design.  The base has two marks.  One is “Mappin and Webb” which is a famous Sheffield silversmith.  The other mark is “Reed & Barton  800? .   This mark is barely legible.   One of these companies obviously produced these candelabras and the other retailed them.  I would expect that they were made in Sheffield.  We enjoyed having these in our home for a number of years.  They are the best we have seen!
