Inlaid Walnut Bookcase

Wonderful Aesthetic Victorian period walnut two door bookcase.   It has an exceptional top gallery with spindled returns and carved spires with incised carvings in front.  The back has two conical finials on each end with a rectangular burled panel on each side.  The middle has a burled panel with a repeating inlaid design.  The top has two carved round finials and a spindled gallery.   The two doors have the original glass and feature fancy brass hinges and a large original key.  There are three original adjustable shelves (some warping).  Lovely incised carved columns decorate the sides.   The step out base has two drawers with incised carvings, fancy raised key escucheons, incised carvings on the fronts  and lovely round brass pulls.   A very attractive high style useable small bookcase from the period.   Circa:  1875.    Dimensions:   75″ H    x    52″ W    x    19″ D.    Condition:  Nice original finish with a rich patina.   There is a split on panel  in the backboard that doesn’t affect the structural integrity.     There is some minor damage to the bottom molding under the inlaid panel.                  Price:   $3850.        SPECIAL SALE PRICE:   $2950DSC_0019DSC_0017 DSC_0015 DSC_0012 DSC_0011 DSC_0010 DSC_0008 DSC_0007 DSC_0004DSC_0021
