Fine quality late Victorian mahogany library table. The top has a rich deeply carved edge. There is a slight joint separation on the surface. The skirt has a drawer on one side and is fully carved. There is a carved open mouth lion’shead in the middle of the drawer and an intricately carved monster’s head on each corner. The graceful cabriole legs, bottom cross stretcher and finial are all carved. Notice the clusters of grapes on each side to the top of each leg - a most unusual feature!
